I’m sitting in a café sipping coffee and ready to cry. I have to write this down or explode. I spent over three hours searching for Abby and found nothing. It’s as if she doesn’t exist.

Of course, that’s what Uncle Mark believes, but it’s not true. She’s alive. I know it. Maybe Jenny had better luck. I should have gotten her cell number. Or given her mine. This not knowing is killing me.

Am I tilting at windmills? Has my mind gone south again? No! I know what and who I saw. I will not allow Uncle Mark or anyone tell me otherwise.

I need to get home. To see Jenny.

I have to find my sister. Now!
